I just added a new section to the website that allows Website Members to post Classified Ads to Buy and Sell either New or Used Equipment.

It can be expanded to include other items but I decided just to keep it to Softball equipment for now.

I don't know about you but after 10 or more years of softball we have a garage full of used equipment ranging from Batting Helments to Bags to Bats. I will be posting some of our stuff on there this weekend. You know what they say one persons junk is anothers treasure.

O.k. back to the Ads section... You can post as many ads as you want and have the option to post two pictures of the item per Ad. All Ads are set to expire after 30 days but you will be sent an email 3 days before expiration letting you know so that you can renew it.

I think that this is a very positive addition to the site and one of the major things I had in mind while building the site. I hope all of you enjoy it and decide to use it!

For the past 3 weekends I have been travelling to the gold qualifiers in Texas and Oklahoma.

I was there to watch my daughter play of course but I also spent a lot of time handing out business cards and talking about my website to college coaches.

I explained that we had some really talented girls that had signed up and that it would be worth their while to come on out to the site and take a look.

So, keep your profile updated and be sure to upload your skills video if you haven't already done so. There are instructions on how to do that in the Forums if you don't know how. It's really easy so you shouldn't have any problems.

If you don't have a skills video then it's probably time to get started!!!

How do you guys like the new logo?

I think it's one of the best I have ever seen and am very thankful for it.

No, I didn't do it. I only wish I had the talent to be able to create graphics like that. You'll know the ones I do because it will look like a kid in kindergarden did it with crayons. The person who created this for me is a good friend that just happens to teach graphic design.

How fortunate for me, right.

Anyway, I just wanted to take some time and say thank you to Kara Powell for the totally awesome logo design. I didn't give any kind of hint of what I was looking for or thinking of and just let her go for it. She designs all of our High School T-shirts and programs so I know I was asking the right person for help.

Kara's daughter and mine have been playing ball together since they were playing 8U ball and  now they are both going into their Senior Year of High School. We have been ball park buddies ever since.

Today after many, many months of preparation and research, I am very happy to announce the opening of a new section of the website.

 The "College Contacts" section is a complete listing of all Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3 College Coaches and their contact information.

 You also have a choice of sending emails from within the form.

 To preview and or sign up for a subscription please "Log In" first and then click on themenu item entitled "College Contacts"

Just a quick note that parts of the site have been upgraded.

1. The forums have been removed and a new one added that allows better integration with the community feature on the front page.

2. The Blog application has been upgraded to the latest version.

3. The commenting system has also been upgraded the latest version.
